How does it work?

Surface A

Supply air coming out from the grille causes reflux of warm air surrounding the surface of the grille. Relative to ambient air, condensation will not happen on Dry-FlowTM Anti-Condensation grilles because the grille surface temperature is not cold (ΔT of 2°C – 4°C).

Compared to a conventional grille where the surface temperature is equal to supply air temperature, sweating is lightly to occur when ambient air is warm or very moist (high RH).

Surface B

The reflux to surface B is second step to anti-condensation. To get even air flow throughout the length of the grille is necessary to achieve zero reflux on the surface B of grille. Directional baffles are placed at crucial points of reflux to tackle this issue; they merely redirect the angle of the airflow (instead of creating pressure drops) which implies no effect to total static or airflow volume.

Air Seals (Internal & External)

Different thicknesses of air seals made of closed celled rubber are placed at strategic points to ensure absolutely zero leakage of cold air. Rigorous testing of airflow is done before handing over to ensure our grilles meet to expectations.
